At the Scottsdale Auction on January 15th

The Ferrari F50 has been criminally overlooked by many collectors for years, but now the cars are demanding quite the high prices at the auction block as they should. The F50 is an important part of Ferrari’s history and one of the most extreme and beautiful cars ever made. The car that first brought the F50 prototype to the world in 1995 at the Tokyo Motor Show can now be yours. The vehicle will cross the auction blog at the Scottsdale Auction on Januar 15, 2020.

The Ferrari F50 Berlinetta Prototipo is the first production-spec F50 ever. The car was driven by several famous F1 drivers, including Niki Lauda, Gerhard Berger, and Jean Alesi. Ferrari’s own test driver, Dario Benuzzi also drove the car. Rod Egan, Principal and Auctioneer said this is the most significant F50 built for the road in existence, according to The Supercar Blog.

It will be interesting to see how much the car ends up going for. Prices for these have been climbing and with this one being such an important car, we expect it to fetch an impressive price at the auction block.
