PlayStation Days Of Play PS4 Sale Revealed: MLB The Show 20, The Last Of Us, Dreams, And More

PlayStation’s Days of Play sale, an annual event that normally runs during E3, will return in a couple of weeks with deals on products exclusive to the PS4. Unlike recent years, however, Days of Play won’t feature PS4 consoles or PSVR hardware, which feels a tad strange considering the PS5 arrives later this year. That said, Days of Play will still offer great discounts on exclusive games, including MLB The Show 20, Nioh 2, Dreams, and more. Days of Play runs from June 3 to June 17, and all major retailers typically join in on the fun.

On the games front, MLB The Show 20 will be discounted to $40, which is the lowest price we’ve seen since the baseball sim released in March. Another 2020 game, Nioh 2, will be $40 during the sale, but it’s already on sale for that price at Amazon. Nioh 2 is a challenging action-RPG that will likely appeal to fans of Dark Souls. Dreams, Media Molecule’s enchanting create-your-own-game experience, will be discounted to $30.

PS4 exclusives from 2019 will be slashed to low prices, too. Days Gone and MediEvil will be $20 each, while Death Stranding will be 50% off at $30.

PSVR owners can save on several great games. Astro Bot Rescue Mission, one of the best VR platformers, will be available for a new low price of $10, as will first-person shooter Farpoint. Meanwhile, Blood and Truth will be down to to $20, and Everybody’s Golf VR will be $15. Both of those games make great use of the PlayStation Move controllers. While the PlayStation VR itself won’t be on sale, there’s a great new Iron Man PSVR bundle releasing in July.

PlayStation Hits titles such as The Last of Us Remastered will be 50% off at $10. Sony only revealed TLOU so far, but we’d expect to see other former hits featured in last year’s sale such as Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, and Until Dawn.

In addition to games, you can grab PlayStation’s Gold Wireless Headset for $70 and the Platinum Wireless Headset for $140. While we rarely see the Gold Headset for less than $70, the Platinum Headset is currently on sale for $100 at Amazon.

PlayStation Plus 12-month subscriptions will be discounted to $42. Normally we’d say this is a deal worth grabbing, but Ebay has had PS Plus subscriptions for less than $40 for weeks now. Of course, there’s a chance Ebay’s deal could be gone by then, so we’d suggest re-upping your subscription as soon as possible if interested.

You can also get 20% off full-priced merchandise from the PlayStation Gear Store during the sale by using promo code DAYSOFPLAY2020. We’ll update this article when Days of Play kicks off on June 3, but you can expect to see all of these deals at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, and Target.
